I'll overwhelm 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
